The University of Khartoum admits students of various nationalities provided they meet the admission requirements of the University.
The admission to the University of Khartoum proceeds through several processes that are supervised by the Academic Secretary. The first requirement is the Sudan School Certificate or an equivalent certificate.
Sudanese nationals apply for admission to the Central Admissions Administration, which processes applications to the various universities on competitive bases. Applications from foreign students and from holders of foreign certificates are also considered by the Admissions Administration. Students whose qualifications fall slightly short of the entrance requirement may also be admitted under a cost-linked admission scheme.
