The General policy of the University is a policy that the governs rules and strategies of the activities in the University.

The different activities of the students of the University of Khartoum are organized by the students themselves through Khartoum University Students Union (KUSU). These activities are guided and assisted by the Dean of Students who is responsible of fulfilling the general policy of the University for these activities.

The University provides financial aid in support of the different activities. A residence for Khartoum University Students Union is provided by the University as a venu for the cultural and social activities.
