The Home Page, the façade of our project, commences with the phrase "In the Name of Allah Most Gracious Most Merciful" placed between two black and white emblems that are used on all official papers of the University.
A photograph of the Main Library, which is the building that used to be the Gordon Memorial College and still is the symbol of the University, is also embodied in this page. The Home Page includes links to the pages of the "Historical Background" of the University, the "Administration" of the University, the "Main Library", the "Emblem" of the University, a "Gallery", the "Student Life" at the University, "Studying at the University of Khartoum", a link to the "Maps" page, a link to the "Campuses" location page, a link to each "Campus" page, a link to the "Statistics" page, a link to a "Definitions" page and a link to a page about the designers of the Web Page and this project.
The page of the Historical Background states facts about the birth of the University of Khartoum, under the name of Gordon Memorial College, and relates its evolution to its current structure.
The Emblem page shows the significance of the emblem and the meaning of its various components. It also narrates how it was designed under the supervision and guidance of Dr. E. Daffalla.
Another page within the project is Student Life at the University of Khartoum. This page includes information about the students' social, cultural, sports activities and the accommodations provided to the students.
Studying at the University provides a link to comprehensive information about both under-graduate and post-graduate studies in the University.
The project also contains a small Gallery, which we hope to expand, that embodies some historical paintings and photographs.
The Main Library, the largest of many libraries in the University, has its individual page. The page includes the administrative body of the Library and its various sections.
Each of the four campuses of the University has its own page containing a link to the Home Page as well as links to all the faculties, units, centers and colleges it embodies.
Each faculty, unit, center or college in the University has its own page that contains information about its administration, its contact information and a short historical note about it. It also includes links to the department of that body, the graduate degrees it offers and a link to the Home Page as well as another to the campus page.

Development and further work on the Project
Further development and work to be done on the project is a necessity to facilitate the acquisition of more information regarding various inquiries about the University. The need to further work on this project was mainly due to the limited time set for it. Another point worth mentioning is that we, the designers of the project, spent a lot of time searching, gathering and translating the data, which was not easily available.
The development will cover the University as a whole and will provide extensive facts about its properties, establishments and various regulations. Some details of the further work to be done is as follows:
