The Faculty of Engineering and Architecture was established as a Higher School in 1939; it awarded a Higher Diploma of Engineering.
In 1956 it became the Faculty of Engineering & Architecture and now offers both under-graduate and post-graduate degrees.
The Faculty of Engineering and Architecture offers courses for first degrees leading to the following qualifications:
The Degree of Bachelor of Science (Honours) (Engineering) of the University of Khartoum, in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Mining and Surveying Engineering
The Degree of Bachelor of Science (Honours) (Architecture) of the University of Khartoum
The Degree of Bachelor of Science (Honours) (Agricultural Engineering) of the University of Khartoum
