Egyptian President to Visit Sudan Thursday Sudan Vision - March 31
Khartoum - the Egyptian President, Mohamed Morsi is due to begin his first visit to the country on Thursday, where he will meet President Omar Al-Bashir.
Spokesman of the Egyptian presidency said that Morsi will discuss, during his one-day visit, with his Sudanese counterpart ways of strengthening bilateral relations in various fields and expanding economic, trade and investment cooperation.
He added that the talks would also cover the participation of Egyptian companies in the development process in Sudan and follow up the implementation of various programs and cooperation agreements.
Head of the Egyptian ruling party, Dr. Saad Al-Katateni had revealed the said visit during his recent visit to Khartoum without specifying a date.
Ruling parties in the Sudan and Egypt had signed a joint cooperation agreement, which includes relations between the two parties and the two countries and cooperation at all levels.
