KHARTOUM, Sudan, March 26 (UPI) -- An Israeli air strike on an ammunition factory in Sudan caused widespread air pollution last year, a Sudanese Cabinet minister says.
Environment Minister Hassan Hilal, in a statement released Sunday, said the government was considering seeking damages against Israel, the Sudan Tribune reported.
Sudan says Israeli missiles were responsible for an explosion in October of the al-Yarmouk factory. Israel has accused Sudan of supplying arms to militants in Gaza and of working with the Iranian government against Israel.
