National Umma Party Responsible for the Loss of Islamic Gains

National Umma Party Responsible for the Loss of Islamic Gains
Sudan Vision -  March 10
The Spokesman of the National Umma Party and the former Minister of State in the Foreign Ministry, Najeeb Al Khair Abdul Wahab criticized the ruling National Congress for the loss of the  national and Islamic gains represented in the secession of South Sudan.

It's not necessary to respond to this remark, because Abdul Wahab is experiencing desperate conditions posing him to abandon the Umma Reform and Renewal Party to join the mainstream National Umma Party led by Imam  Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi as spokesman despite his long diplomatic experience and the differences within the politburo.

How strange for the Umma Party to talk about the loss of national gains let alone the Islamic ones. Who is responsible for loss of national gains and interests? Is it the National Congress or the Umma Party which has endorsed the new dawn charter which calls for separating state and religion and dividing the country into region and each region has the right to remain part of the country or to separate?

The ruling National Congress is not responsible for the secession of South Sudan. The split as every layman knows came according to internationally brokered agreement which gave South Sudan self determination. The agreement was welcomed by all the political opposition parties.

It's no use crying over spilled milk. But the Party behaved as if it owned the entire country ignoring that South Sudan antagonizes Sudan by supporting the rebels and signatories of the new dawn charter.

The Umma Party Party has never conducted charitable works or dawa programme (Islamic call) in South Sudan to help make unity more attractive although the South Sudanese ruling movement was ally to the Umma Party and part of the so-called National Democratic Alliance.

When Abdul Wahab joined the government representing the Umma Reform and Renewal Party he didn't raise a finger or placed emphasis on the importance of South Sudan. On the contrary, the party has been conspiring against Sudan. Then who is responsible of letting the Islamic gains go by?
