Taha Calls on Food Security Partners to Invest in Sudan
Sudan Vision -  February 16
Khartoum – First Vice President, Ali Osman Mohammed Taha affirmed the intension of the government to go ahead in achieving the dams’ projects considering it as giving strong motives to make the required economical, social and developmental change in the country.

While inspecting the progress of Upper Atbara and Setit Dams, Taha enumerated the advantages of the projects in adding 320 megawatts to the national grid besides the irrigation of millions of feddans and providing additional economical services to the national economy.

 


Taha lauded the bilateral relation between Sudan and Ethiopia, affirming that the project will represent an approach to regional cooperation in different fields.

He pointed out to the efforts exerted by the government to avail better investment environment to attract the investors in response to the outcome of the recent Arab Economical Summit held in Riyadh in which President Al Bashir presented an initiative to make Sudan as a start point to achieve the Arab food security.

Taha called the food security concerned partners to visit Sudan as the conditions are made better and the investment encouragement act will help in building strong relations with partners and individuals.
