Juba-Tel Aviv Oil Deal: Is it Real or Just a Maneuver ?

Juba-Tel Aviv Oil Deal: Is it Real or Just a Maneuver ?
Sudan Vision -  January 31
No doubt, South Sudanese has the right sell its oil to whoever it wants at the price that it sees suitable because it knows well its interests. No matter about South Sudan-Israel oil deal from political or economic point of view. But in terms of security, the agreement will definitely threaten the national security of the region especially Sudan.

All the world economies are of political nature. We see how US has launched wars in many parts of the world and established military bases only for oil.  It was reported that US is planning to send more than 35.00 soldiers to about 35 African countries within the framework of the war on terror, but the main reason is control the African oil.

Similarly, Israel is planning to dominate the African continent economically. South Sudan has accepted the hegemony and allowed Israel to bring its machinery and means of transportation. Sooner or later, this will threaten Sudan's sovereignty because most of the oil fields are bordering Sudan and near to areas where conflicts are ignited between the government and the rebels.

Israeli presence in the oil areas and its aggressive tendency will undoubtedly constitute threat to the Sudanese national security.

The prices of the South Sudanese oil will be paid in the form of military assistance to threaten Sudan which is generously harbouring the South Sudanese people.

The move will cost Sudan a lot as a neighbouring country. Morally, Sudan will be in charge of sending foodstuffs to the South Sudanese whose oil returns will be the hands of foreign circles.

Israel's policy with South Sudan will be like that of Gaza with little differences. Israel will be controlling everything and allowing only some neighbours to provide foodstuffs.

Internationally, when two countries are separated, the mother country has the right to the resources of the infant country. The relations between Sudan and South Sudan cannot be broken up due to joint history and neighbourliness.

Thus, accommodating Israel in South Sudan oil deal will just be a manoeuvred at the present time due to many complications that could harm south Sudan alone.
