Now I received a letter from one of them who call himself executive director for President's office saying that I made a decision to come back to the main stream and I am telling him that I do not know him and I do not want to know him at this junction. He is one of the Gogrial man who claims to be your relative and is misleading you together with those opportunists. Mr. President it is two years now when I decided to join Dr. Lam Akol the chairman of the SPLM DC as one of the nationalists who fought the war from the beginning to the last.
Mr. President I need not to tell you in detail only this time of bitterness when our late leader Dr. John Garang gave you a message that I was assigned for mobilization to bring the Nuer back to the main stream. We left Yei county up to Gogrial the area which was attacked and burnt down to ashes. You asked me saying William your programme with Dr. John Garang is it going to success? My answer was that Sir, I do not believe in failure in my life. The following day I crossed the border and came back with those nationalists who are serving our SPLM /SPLA today.
Dr. Lam Akol, his contributions are known to you. They are as follows: Addis Ababa Office, Koka Dam meeting between Dr. John and Ali Osman Mirgani, Our Relief Office of the SRRA in 1988 during starvation in South Sudan, Abuja Two which the two sides joined as one block against Khartoum, the self- determination which brought us independence today and finally the good number of southern diplomats in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Khartoum. These are Dr. Lam Akol's contributions to the struggle.
Mr. President, I was seeking for a way to meet you for three important issues one of them is the absence of Lam Akol here in our capital Juba while the South-South dialogue, the Leadership Forum and the national amnesty. Dr.Lam did not attend our Independence Day while he is among the leaders who are supposed to enjoy the independence.
In that particular reason I feel something like invitation for him to come to Juba by the President and even I exchange my view point with Dr. Barnaba Marial Benjamin about that. But thanks to Almighty God when you where coming back from your mission you passed through Nairobi and met Dr. Lam. An agreement was reached by two of you and Dr.Lam came to Juba. He did not hesitate at all, he made a strong statement calling all southern political parties to join together and help in nation building with the SPLM under your leadership and I thank the almighty God for that.
The other thing is what is going on between Mayom and Gogrial counties and I am still seeking a way to meet you. This is the reason and I will continue in this direction until I see you face to face even though there is some difficulties since I made my points very clear I believe that you will respond when the almighty God takes it into your heart at any time today and tomorrow because it is my right since we have South-South dialogue, the leadership forum, national amnesty.
Mr President, those who are misusing your position would eventually make it so difficult for southern nationalists to give their contributions in building the new nation. I am very sorry indeed to see you being misled by the non-nationalists who even did not make any contribution during our struggle. Perhaps some of them where grazing in foreign countries and some where under the common enemy in the north Sudan.
Mr President, I fought the enemy at the military level. I taught the red army at schools. I mobilized our people in Eritrea, reconciled our communities and I brought our people back to the main stream and supplied them with food and non-food items. I may make some points here as chauvinist pawn and scapegoat divided them into the three.
Mr President let me remind you that to become the first President for this new nation, the Republic of South Sudan it is a gift which came from God above. Therefore you have to work for the unity and not to be misled by those who do not have the national feeling. It would be a blessing to you in particular but if you miss it only God knows perhaps those elements and the other ones from Gogrial who claim to be your relative would eventually make you fail.
I am still determined to see you because of those issues mentioned above which are supposed to be tackled before it is too late. Mr. President what happened in Eastern Bank of the Nile River in Jonglei State should not happen in western side of the Nile in the three states of Lake, Unity and Warrap.
In this junction I am qualified, capable and ready at any time to lead the peace committee in order to rescue the situation.
This is what I was thinking and very eager to do so. I will continue as I am concerned not seeking for my own need from you. I believe that you are aware about my person and all my compatriots.
Before conclusion, I would like to ask those opportunists and Gogriil man who claim to be your relative, I am asking them where they were during the struggle.
Let them know that revolutionaries are those who brought peace and independence. They will not be allowed to continue in misleading the President and the southern nationalist. Very soon correction will be made by the head of the state, who is General Salva Kiir Mayardit, The President for Republic of South Sudan.
Mr. President I am so eager to take part in uniting our communities as I did before.
